Hi, Iā€™m Bahar

As a third-culture individual, my life has been a journey of diverse experiences. Born and raised in the Middle East with South Asian roots, I moved to America at the age of 17, spent a transformative year in Haifa serving at the Baha'i World Centre, and now call Toronto home. Recently, I graduated from the Faculty of Design at OCAD University, where I honed my skills in design and visual storytelling.

My work as a visual artist and designer is driven by a deep passion for storytelling, connection, and cultural exploration. Through illustration, animation, graphic design, and various art forms, I aim to create meaningful experiences that resonate with people from all walks of life. My background and experiences across different cultures have instilled in me a strong desire to build communities and foster deep connections.

Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and conversational in Arabic, Farsi, and French, I bring a multilingual and multicultural perspective to my work. This linguistic diversity allows me to engage with a broader audience and incorporate a rich tapestry of cultural influences into my designs.

In my personal time, I find joy in decorating, event planning, playing the guitar, singing, and immersing myself in various creative endeavors. Whether exploring a new city or creating in my studio, I am constantly seeking inspiration from the world around me.
