Hi, Iā€™m Bahar

As a third-culture kid, my life has been a journey of diverse experiences. Born and raised in the Middle East with South Asian roots, I moved to America at the age of 17, spent a transformative year in Haifa serving at the Baha'i World Centre, and now call Toronto home. In 2024, I graduated from the Faculty of Design at OCAD University, where I honed my skills in design and visual storytelling.

My work as a visual artist and designer is driven by a deep passion for storytelling, connection, and cultural exploration. Through illustration, animation, graphic design, and various art forms, I aim to create meaningful experiences that resonate with people from all walks of life. My background and experiences across different cultures have instilled in me a strong desire to build communities and foster deep connections.

Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and conversational in Arabic, Farsi, and French, I bring a multilingual and multicultural perspective to my work. This linguistic diversity allows me to engage with a broader audience and incorporate a rich tapestry of cultural influences into my designs.

Whether I'm planning events, playing guitar, or exploring Toronto's diverse neighborhoods, I'm constantly drawing inspiration from different art forms and cultural experiences to inform my design approach. This curiosity and creative versatility allows me to bring fresh perspectives to every project.
